Train Athletes. Empower Coaches. Mobilize Volunteers

Recognize progress before the podium.

Every rider dreams of that moment on the podium. Groupset makes it easy for coaches to break that goal down to easy steps for their athletes at team scale. Conduct time trials, track training volume, and measure skill improvements all season long. It's automatic, so you can focus on coaching athletes and leading your team.

Every rider on the recordAttendance, rides, and private notes from your whole coaching crew are kept on one record for each rider, so a quiet mid-pack rider is as easy to find as a podium finisher.
Time trial benchmarksSet a time trial course close to your team and measure progress every month.
Race day notificationsResults update on the race's Results tab during the race. Parents get push notifications when their rider completes each lap with place info and lap splits automatically.

You signed up to coach kids, not to do paperwork.

Registration, payments, attendance, the schedule, and team announcements live in one app, so there's less paperwork to carry home from practice.

Every kid deserves to be seen, and Groupset lets coaches see their effort.

Athletes, Coaches, and Parents

Athletes, coaches, and parents each get a clear view of the season.

Athlete performance

Once a rider connects Strava, Groupset keeps the record of their season.

Once riders connect Strava, their miles, elevation, and hours sync on their own, and their time trial results are tracked, with personal records and season bests. Each rider sees their own weekly volume numbers next to the group median.

Example · Trailhead Climb · Time Trial
November — 9:41
Each rider's own times, tracked across the season.
Coach performance

Suggested Coach Actions are delivered weekly.

Coach Actions are a weekly briefing for every training group: up to five suggested Weekly Actions, each naming the rider and the numbers behind it. A coach marks an action handled with a tap.

Example · Coach Insights · This week
Maya Park — riding volume changed (4.9 mi vs 12.3 group median)
2 riders drifting from practice — loop in their parents
Sam Ortiz — skill work: pair with a faster teammate on the descents
Marking an action handled moves it under Being handled.
Volunteer performance

Parents can sign up for the shifts that make race day run.

Team admins post volunteer shifts and bring-an-item tasks, parents sign up with a tap, and slot counts update live. Credit hours build toward milestone badges and a season target the team sets, so each family's hours stay on the record.

Race Day · Course Marshal
10:00 – 12:00 · Station 3
Filled: ●●○○ 2 of 4
Shifts and bring-an-item tasks are claimed in the same app families use to register.
Built for real practices

This is a tool for the actual trailhead.

Rides sync from Strava after one setup.

Each rider connects Strava once, and new rides arrive after they finish, so you can see training volume without asking anyone to log it.

What each person can see depends on their role.

Parents see only their own children, and coaches see the groups they coach. Every coach can see emergency contacts, and each person's role decides the rest, rather than the honor system.

Check-in works at trailheads with no signal.

Check-ins save on the phone and send when it reconnects. The roster, schedule, and emergency contacts are saved on the phone too. Medical details are saved as well, and coaches need a Level 2 license to see them. Open the app once with a signal first so the roster is stored.
